Azure Storage Explorer - "Cannot read property 'uids' of undefined" using connection string

As part of an open case needed to use Azure Storage Explorer while using a connection string account. After pasting in both primary or secondary connection strings both are getting the same error "Cannot read property 'uids' of undefined".

Have the latest version installed (1.11.1) and even after using Refresh All to browse to Local & Attached the insights-logs-servicelog shows no data available in this blob container.

My question is was this storage account ever attached correctly and somehow empty (not expected) or is the error message about not being able to read property while attaching the actual problem now preventing any logs from being analyzed (suspected)?

Companion question how would one resolve this cannot read property issue as we will need to see these logs and can only connect to seemingly empty containers?
