Limitation on concurrent smb connections

Is there any limitation on concurrent smb connections? I am moving roughly 5k concurrent user sessions to NetApp and trying to scope the amount of Volumes and Pools needed.

    The default limit when using basic networking is 1k. If you can, use a standard networking and it gets rid of that limit.

    As for session limits. I do believe there’s a 5k limit for individual user connections (single IP connecting to ANF). If you mean 5k users/session and not a single session, I don’t think that’ll be of issue at all. You’ll need to engage with engineering/support teams to understand ONTAP specific config to know what the specific limits may be.
