An anti-malware platform update for Endpoint Protection clients is now available for download

We have a new Knowledge Base article out that describes an anti-malware platform update package for both Microsoft System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection Service Pack 1 (SP1) clients and Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010 clients. These packages update Endpoint Protection client services, drivers, and user interface components.

Note This update applies only to Endpoint Protection clients that are integrated with Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager or Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007.

  Within the hotfix download for CM12, there are two files: One labeled KB2865173 and one labeled KB2864366. I can't seem to find any information about KB2864366. Under what circumstance would it be necessary to install that one? Thanks

  I just downloaded the hotfix package again because the original link from the email no longer worked, and KB2864366 was no longer in it. Very interesting... I suppose I can assume that it was there by mistake and was not intended to be released.
