ReadyBoost vs USB Hub

One of those "duh" moments: For an hour today I couldn't understand why copying from a USB 2.0 external hard disk to an eSATA enclosure had its throughput cut to 25% of what I was seeing before. Then it dawned on me, that USB hub I plugged the USB hard drive into also has a memory stick plugged into it - a memory stick on which ReadyBoost is enabled. The bandwidth through the hub ended up being in a tug of war between file copy & ReadyBoost. Oops.
