The Microsoft.com Community Technologies Team (the team I am on) has just released our beta of the new Community Platform we are working on. This beta will give you some insight into what we are building, and more importantly, the opportunity for you to help us out by giving us feedback.

    What will happen to the newsgroups and will there be a rich client for accessing the forums, like Outlook Express was for the Newsgroups which was really helpful.

    Nektar - yes, we plan on allowing offline support for these systems.
