SharePoint 2010 y la excepción: Your personal site does not contain a picture library named 'Pictures'.

Hola

Alguno de vosotros seguro que se ha encontrado con el siguiente bug al subir una foto a un mysite:

El problema es debido a una regresión en el Cumulativo de Octubre de 2011. Los pasos para reproducirlo son:

  • Crear una collección de sitios de tipo My Site contra un User Profile Service.
  • Actualizar al Cumulativo de Octubre de 2011
  • Entrar en el anterior my site y subir una foto. La excepción "Your personal site does not contain a picture library named 'Pictures'." aparecerá.

Por desgracia, no hay un workaround sencillo para ello pero el problema ya ha sido arreglado y se distribuira el fix en el Cumulativo de Diciembre de 2011 (Sobre el 27 de diciembre de 2011 será lanzado).

    Hi Mohamamd Thanks for your comment. It's expected that the December 2011 CU will solve the issue as the second comment states and even I tested on one of my machines. On the other hand, I'm quite surprised that the third comment states that the issue has not been solved. As far as I know, there isn't anything reported related to that.
