Eye-Fi?
Angus has been shouting loudly about Eye-Fi - and I have to admit it does look pretty cool. Take a look at his blog post for full details, but essentially this is a small piece of hardware (a card) that can automatically transfer pictures from your digital camera up onto Live Spaces.
Now, although this does sound pretty whiz-bang I haven't been able to find Eye-Fi for sale outside the US :-(
I'm sure it will break out of the borders soon and become available elsewhere (well, the UK would be good) but at the moment it remains something that is interesting to know about but isn't going to become part of my personal collection of flashy gadgets just yet, ie not until it's for sale on this side of the Atlantic.

Thanks Michael - yes you can order from US online stores (amazon.com has them too), but usually the shipping costs make this a bit painful. Would be interested to hear about your experiences though when you get it.Anonymous

Just bought an Eye-fi (I'm in Australia) via the roundabout method of sending it to someone in the US who forwarded it to me. Unfortunately, setting up the card requires registration at the Eye-fi website and the card wont communicate with the site from outside the US. So... it's useless until I find a way around that. Several days, still looking.
