I need a new look

This is how I looked in 1999. My hair had a few more inches on that at its longest. When I shaved the back of my head, I sent a 21“ braid to Locks of Love. I also sent two braids from the main part of my head.

This past December I sent the septum ring off balance in Kuai, HI.

Earlier this spring, checking out Bellevue's Wilburton Trestle. Check out all the links there, it's pretty cool.

Now I'm ready for a new look. Motorcycling was tough enough on the hair, but at least there I could protect it with the helmet and jacket. Sailing is the worst; I always come home with a rat's nest. I really like my hair, but I'm tired of taking care of it.

I have two requirements for a new haircut:

  1. It must be funky. I don't want to look “normal“.
  2. It must be low maintainance. Long = hard to wash, brush, and dry. Short = must be re-cut often. Dyed = must be re-dyed often.

For example, a mohawk meets #1 but not #2.

Shaving my head almost meets #1 and almost meets #2.

Maybe if I just add a bunch more piercings?
