Project Conference 2014 - Call for Content Launched!

Microsoft Project Conference 2014 is the premiere Microsoft-led event to share Project and Portfolio Management best practices and connect with your peers from around the globe. Project Conference will be held in Anaheim, California on February 3-5, 2014. Do you have best practices you would like to share on Microsoft’s Project Portfolio Management (PPM) offering? Do you have success stories you would like to share with attendees? If you do and are interested in presenting next February, you are invited to propose content for delivery at Microsoft Project Conference 2014!

The Call for Content will be open September 3 – September 30, 2013

Submit your content ideas here. Please ensure to complete all required fields. Notifications will be sent out for all submissions by the end of October.

Audience

Project Conference hosts a mix of audiences including Microsoft PPM practitioners, IT Professionals and Developers, as well as Decision Makers and Business Managers.

Breakout Sessions

Breakout Sessions are the main content delivery modality at Project Conference other than the keynote sessions. These breakout sessions are lecture-style presentations located in rooms seating anywhere from 100-400 people and are 75 minutes in length. They typically include slides, demos, and a Question & Answer period, and they are recorded and distributed in the MyPC virtual event platform.

Tracks

Content will be divided into 3 core tracks: business, product and technical with huge emphasis on Online and Office365 to address our key audiences.

clip_image003Online With power of choice for online or on-premises, Project Online and Project Pro for Office 365 are the latest additions to the Office 365 platform, together with Exchange Online, Lync Online and SharePoint Online building a powerful environment to fulfill almost any business need. This cross-track includes sessions that highlight the value of Online and cloud services in general.

clip_image003[1]Business - Value & Insights The Business Value & Insights track showcases customers across industries, and experienced partners, all sharing success stories and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) best practices. Primary audiences for this track are decision makers and business managers.

clip_image003[2]Product – Product Overview The Product Session track includes content on the latest product release information (i.e. Office 365, Project Online, Project desktop, Project Server, SharePoint Online, etc...). Sessions showcase production information, best practices on how to best enhance your project portfolio performance, and solutions that enhances out the box capabilities and provide integration with line of business applications. Primary audiences for this track are the Microsoft PPM practitioners.

clip_image003[3]Technical - Implementation, Administration & Development This technical track focuses on implementation, configuration, administration best practice as well as developer sessions on how to extend the out of the box capabilities across online and on-premises products to fits your specific business needs. Primary audiences for this track are IT Professionals and Developers.

Travel & Expenses

Complimentary passes will be provided for all selected speakers.  Any travel costs including airfare, hotel, etc will be the responsibility of the speaker.
