MSDN Forums: 1 Million Posts and Counting!

Today I was doing a little bit of housekeeping on the MSDN Forums and I noticed the post ticker at the bottom of the page...

In case the picture comes through fuzzy--today we broke through 1,000,000 posts on the MSDN Forums, almost exactly two years after they initially launched!  And to think, people told Josh that developers weren't going to use web forums... :)  Another fun stat for me is that on the day I started, August 1, 2005, there were only 45,065 posts...only 4.5% of the post volume that we have today.  Cool.

I've been meaning to pull together a cool post with some statistics I've been pulling together about the forums, but I'll save that for another day.  For now, let's just make like a giant McDonald's sign and say MSDN Forums: 1 million posts, ready to be searched and served!
