Internet Explorer shortcuts! Try these: F11 to make it full screen and back, Shift when you click on a link to open in a new window, F6 highlights the Address bar to type a new URL, F5 is refresh current page, CTL H shows history of where you’ve been.

    Backspace takes you to previous page in your history.

    Thanks for the shift-click, I will use that one a lot.

    ctrl + p - prints the current page

    I use Alt-D to select the address bar.
    Most of these shortcuts also work in Firefox.

    F4 drops the address bar recent addresses list

    when typing in URLs, hitting ctrl-enter automatically adds http://www. and .com to what you've typed. This is invaluable. Firefox supports this too.

    That reminds me of inline autocomplete. I love the way IE remembers where I've been but hate taking my fingers off the home row to hit the down key. If you go to Tools, Options, Advanced, and find the item that says Use Inline Autocomplete, it makes life so much easier.

    For the last year, I've been using this shortcut to navigate the web:

    If it has a *.com extension, type in the name of the site and press Control + Shift.

    EXAMPLE: to reach www.mysite.com, you just type mysite and press Control + Shift.

    Now I've cleaned up my browser to make things more secure and suddenly that cool shortcut no longer works.

    Anybody remember what adjustments I need to make to my IE browser (latest version) to regain this ability?

    Jack, no adjustments needed to IE. Just hit [Ctrl] + [Enter] after typing mysite
