Discover how technology is helping Guide Dogs empower people with sight loss

There are an estimated 360,000 people in the UK registered with sight loss. Guide Dogs has been helping blind and partially sighted-people to achieve independent mobility for over 80 years. They are constantly seeking innovative ways to provide them with the ability to enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.

Guide Dogs knows that technology has huge potential to transform the ways in which blind and partially-sighted people get out and about. That’s why they’re working with Microsoft to develop a concept of what the future holds, provided we can all pull together to realise these goals.

Discover how future technologies could enable people with a range of sight loss to easily make safe, informative and enjoyable journeys:

Guide Dogs will be one of more than a dozen innovative organisations presenting at Future Decoded on how they’re using technology to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Discover  the full line-up of speakers and register to attend this unique, free event on 10th November at ExCel London.
