Current issues with access to MSDN and TechNet Subscriber Downloads

We are aware that some Subscribers have recently become unable to access Subscriber Downloads, receiving Error Code 11008 when attempting to gain access.

 

During recent system maintenance, changes were made that have created issues with access from some Subscribers’ systems. It is not an option to roll back these changes, so work is now underway to evaluate possible solutions.

Several Subscribers facing this issue have posted suggestions on this blog and on other forums and blogs, and we recommend you try the following:

 

1. Delete cookies and browser cache

2. Try accessing Subscriber Downloads from an alternate location and/or an alternate computer

 

We do take this very seriously, and continue to work towards resolution. We apologize for any inconvenience this continues to cause.

    What's the deal with the broken link to Vista SP1 RC? The default landing page for msdn.microsoft.com talks about an "RC Preview" being available to subscribers (I have a Universal account), however, the link seems to be broken and there's no sign of in the actual Subscriber Downloads catalog. It's not nice to tease! :-( RCK

    "2.       Try accessing Subscriber Downloads from an alternate location and/or an alternate computer" ...and/or browser.  I don't seem to get the problem with Firefox... :)
