Now Available : Appfabric 1.1 Caching GUI Administrator

Finally, I have published the graphical untility to administer and configure Appfabric 1.1 caching. This utility will make your life easier when configuring the read-through, write behind provider. I plan to make changes to this as and when required with forth coming releases of Server Appfabric. Feel free to download the tool from

  Point taken. An option would be given to user to set remote setting as default in next release. IIS integration was not provided so that users without IIS installed can also run the tool. Most of the businesses run Appfabric caching without hosting capabilities.

  Great tool! I've been using it for some time in our hosting environment where we have been running Appfabric caching since version 1.0. Currently running version 1.1 CU4. Recently I've experienced problems running on Windows Server 2012. Any plans for an updated version of this great tool?

  @Andy Thank you. Unfortunately, I dont have any plans to update the tool. But I do encourage you to make the modifications necessary and contribute to keeping the tool updated on Codeplex. The source code is pretty straight forward and easy to pick up.
