Hi! My name is WiMonet, I'm ready to paint.

MEDC 2007 is just around the corner, and I can't think of a better place to debut WiMonet, the newest addition to the WiMo family. A white board is his canvas and a dry-erase pen is his paintbrush.

WiMonet

I can't believe it's already been a year since I introduced the first WiMo at MEDC 2006.

WiMonet has many of the same features the original, but also adds wheel encoders so that he has an idea of how far he has moved, a 360 degree turret for the Smartphone, longer battery life, and I'm working to add a digital compass as well  There are some things that simply can't be improved upon.  So, you'll still find the ever-so-popular rubber bands holding in the Smartphone.

What distinguishes WiMonet the most is his ability to draw.  Place WiMonet on top of a whiteboard and he'll use the dry-erase marker mounted in the center to create a work of art. WiMonet can be remotely controlled or he can be instructed to draw via a text message or the WiMonet painting application.

WiMonet and I will be around various areas of MEDC.  If you see us, come say hello and see what WiMo can draw for you.

See you at MEDC!

    It becomes self-aware at 2:14am Eastern time, April 27th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug. The T-.99 is born.  Rise of the Logo turtle...I love it. What a great way to teach programming Logo to kids.  Great work!

    const TCHAR* c_szMid= TEXT("\Windows\Loudest.mid"); HRESULT hr = SndOpen(c_szMid, &hSound); // verify hr == S_OK. hr = SndPlayAsync(hSound, 0); // verify hr == S_OK. // do some work here and then wait for the sound to finish playing. WaitForSingleObject(hSound, INFINITE); hr = SndClose(hSound); // verify hr == S_OK. SndStop(SND_SCOPE_PROCESS, NULL);

this is a snippet from mobile 6 document. but the "WaitForSingleObject" can not wait for the sound file play end. anyone can tell me why? thanks!

i cann't find a fit place to ask this question. so i post it into this comment. ^-^
