Customize the look and feel of your portal
You can customize the look and feel of your learner experience of the Microsoft Community Training platform to suit your organization's branding needs.
In this article, you will learn about how to customize the look and feel of the web end point of the learner experience via the management portal:
Permissions Level
The Microsoft Community Training management portal provides role-based administration and depending upon the type of access level administrator can perform an action on the portal. Table below shows administrative roles that can customize the look and feel of the portal.

Before you begin
After login to your Microsoft Community Training portal, switch to administrator view and click on Settings option from the left navigation panel.

Set your portal name
Click General and enter the name under the Portal name field. Your portal name will appear on the title bar of your browser.

Set the logo
Logo represents your training program and forms the most important component of your branding. Your logo will appear on all the pages on the top-left corner of your learning portal.
- Click on Branding tab and upload your logo.
- Recommended logo file size is 150*50 px in PNG with transparent or solid background

Note
This logo is only for the website and is different from your mobile app logo. To learn more about configuring logo for your mobile app, please refer to create and publish mobile app article.
Set the banner image
Your banner image will appear on the landing page and will form the first impression of your learning portal.

Note
Recommended banner file size is 960 * 540 px in JPG or PNG format.
Set the welcome text
Your welcome text will appear on the landing page of your learning portal.

Greet your learners with a catchy welcome text.
Set the brand color
Your brand color will appear at the top bar on all the pages of your learning portal. Brand color provides a unique identity to your learning portal, reinforces your brand and boosts your brand recall.

Set the footer title and message
Your footer title and footer message will appear on the bottom bar of the landing page on your learning portal. You can use these to convey additional information about your training program.
