Business value

In day-to-day field operations, quick and reliable access to information is crucial. Dynamics 365 Field Service addresses this need by introducing an AI-based Copilot assistant.

Frontline workers or technicians frequently spend time onsite searching for the necessary information before beginning their work. Copilot enables them to swiftly find and review the background or essential information needed to complete their tasks and enhance first-time fix rates.

Feature details

Frontline workers or field service technicians can seamlessly look up work order information while on the job through an intuitive natural language Copilot experience within Microsoft Teams. This enables them to access the information necessary to complete their tasks at any time using natural language queries. Microsoft Copilot facilitates the retrieval and modification of work order information with a natural language interface, simplifying the process for technicians.

Copilot provides direct access to the wealth of data stored within the Microsoft Dataverse, including key tables from Field Service like work orders and bookings. This integration guarantees that technicians always have the most up-to-date information at their fingertips.

Designed with field conditions in mind, Copilot is accessible on various platforms (web, Teams) and devices (desktop or mobile), providing real-time assistance whenever and wherever it's needed. This adaptability ensures that technicians are agile and well-informed across different field scenarios.
