Attach user profiles to modeling variables

You can attach a set of user profiles to each modeling variable. If user profiles are attached to a modeling variable, it is only available to users who belong to one of those user profiles. If no user profiles are attached to a modeling variable, it is available to users who belong to any user profile.
Note
This information applies only to Product builder.
Click Product information management > Setup > Product builder > Modeling variables.
Select the modeling variable to which you want to attach a user profile.
Click User profiles to open the User profiles form.
In the User profile field, select the user profile that you want to attach to the current modeling variable. You can attach as many different user profiles as you want to each modeling variable.
Close the forms to save your changes.
