Change the Estimate project that a project is attached to

You can use the Projects form to attach a Fixed-price or Investment project to a different Estimate project.
Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects.
Select or open the Fixed-price or Investment project to attach to a different Estimate project.
On the Action Pane, on the Project tab, in the Maintain group, click Edit.
Depending on your version of the program, do one of the following:
In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2: In the Projects form, on the Revenue recognition FastTab, in the Estimate project ID field, select the Estimate project to attach the project to.
Otherwise, in the Projects form, on the Setup FastTab, in the Estimate project ID field, select the Estimate project to attach the project to.
Note
Only Estimate projects that are in the same project group as the Fixed-price or Investment project are available for selection.
