Delete an attachment

Use the Attachments page to delete a document or note that is attached to a record. If you do not have permission to delete the attachment, an error message is displayed.
Select a record.
Click Attachments.
Select the attachment that you want to delete, click Delete on the ribbon, and then confirm the deletion.
Warning
When you delete a URL attachment, you are not deleting the document itself. Instead, you are deleting only the reference to the document. The document that is stored on the file share or in the document management system is unaffected.
