(SAU) Set up a report name, item code, and asset group for Zakat reporting

To generate Zakat reports, you must create Zakat report names, item codes, and asset groups. Zakat asset groups are used to calculate depreciation and to print Zakat reports.
Create a Zakat report name
Click General ledger > Setup > Zakat > Zakat report names.
Press Ctrl+N to create a new line.
In the Zakat report type field, select the name for the report type.
In the Description field, enter a description for the Zakat report, and then click Active to select the report.
Click Report logo to locate and select the Zakat reports logo. The logo is printed on the Zakat reports.
Close the form to save your changes.
Create a Zakat item code
Click General ledger > Setup > Zakat > Zakat item codes.
Press Ctrl+N to create a new line.
In the Zakat item code field, enter a name for the item code. You can assign a Zakat item code to any account type such as Assets, Liability, and Revenue.
Select a Zakat type and enter a description of the item code in the Description field. Only financial accounts will appear in the list of Zakat accounts.
Close the form to save your changes.
Create a Zakat asset group
Click General ledger > Setup > Zakat > Zakat assets group.
Press Ctrl+N to create a new line.
Enter an asset group in the Asset group field and an asset group type in the Group type field.
Close the form to save your changes.
