Create auditEvent
Namespace: microsoft.graph

Note: The Microsoft Graph API for Intune requires an active Intune license for the tenant.
Create a new auditEvent object.
This API is available in the following national cloud deployments.

Permissions
One of the following permissions is required to call this API. To learn more, including how to choose permissions, see Permissions.

Request body
In the request body, supply a JSON representation for the auditEvent object.
The following table shows the properties that are required when you create the auditEvent.

displayName | String | Event display name. |
componentName | String | Component name. |
actor | auditActor | AAD user and application that are associated with the audit event. |
activity | String | Friendly name of the activity. |
activityDateTime | DateTimeOffset | The date time in UTC when the activity was performed. |
activityType | String | The type of activity that was being performed. |
activityOperationType | String | The HTTP operation type of the activity. |
activityResult | String | The result of the activity. |
correlationId | Guid | The client request Id that is used to correlate activity within the system. |
resources | auditResource collection | Resources being modified. |
category | String | Audit category. |
Response
If successful, this method returns a 201 Created
response code and a auditEvent object in the response body.
