The Marketing Version 202310 (Marketing October 2023) and earlier versions (excluding 202306 and 202307) have been sunset. Additionally, the unversioned APIs will be sunset soon. Social data such as activities, shares, ugc posts, and social actions can only be managed through APIs by authorized members who have specific access detailed in this document.
These access restrictions apply to all endpoints in the Activities API, Shares API, UGC Posts API, and Social Actions API.
These restrictions also apply to URN decoration of Activity URNs, Share URNs, UGC Post URNs, and Comment URNs returned by any other LinkedIn endpoints such as (but not limited to) adAnalytics, adCreatives, organizationalEntityShareStatistics, etc.
Retrieving Personal Posts and Related Social Actions
The authorized member must be the author of the personal posts and any related social actions being retrieved.
Creating and Updating Personal Posts
The authorized member can author personal posts as themselves and can only update personal posts that are authored by them.
Retrieving Organizational Posts
The authorized member must have a role of ADMINISTRATOR
or DIRECT_SPONSORED_CONTENT_POSTER
on the page to retrieve its posts and related social actions.

on the page to create or update its posts.
