To generate an X-Payload-Provider-GUID header, clients SHOULD set the value of the PidTagAttachPayloadProviderGuidString property ([MS-OXCMSG] section 2.2.2.29) for messages and message attachments.<44> Clients MAY<45> generate this header for file attachments.

MIME writers SHOULD<46> copy the value of the PidTagAttachPayloadProviderGuidString property to the X-Payload-Provider-GUID header. MIME writers MAY<47> set this value as a property of the attachment or as a property of the message.

To generate an X-Payload-Class header, clients set the value of the PidTagAttachPayloadClass property ([MS-OXCMSG] section 2.2.2.29).

MIME writers SHOULD<48> copy the value of the PidTagAttachPayloadClass property to the X-Payload-Class header.
