This feature will allow makers to add Microsoft Dataverse tables to solutions with minimal effort. Proper table segmentation makes managing customizations easier in production environments.
Feature details
This feature will improve the maker experience for adding tables to solutions with minimal effort. The system will detect if the table is managed or has active customizations and will automatically select the appropriate segmentation options. For managed tables, the system will also inspect all child objects and add those that have active customizations to the solution. The maker will be allowed to review the selection and can make further adjustments as needed. This avoids bad segmentation that results in unnecessary layers or customizations left behind accidentally or introducing unnecessary dependencies into the solution.
