This function builds a matrix in floating point format that represents a rotation transformation around the z-axis.
Syntax
D3DMXMATRIX* WINAPI D3DMXMatrixRotationZ(
D3DMXMATRIX* pOut,
FLOAT Angle
);
Parameters
- pOut
[in, out] Pointer to the D3DMXMATRIX structure that is the result of the operation.
- Angle
[in] Angle of rotation in radians. Angles are measured clockwise when looking along the rotation axis toward the origin.
Return Value
Pointer to a D3DMXMATRIX structure rotated around the z-axis.
Remarks
The return value for this function is the same value returned in the pOut parameter. In this way, the D3DMXMatrixRotationZ function can be used as a parameter for another function.
