Sends a flash message. A flash message updates the state of active, held and waiting calls on a CDMA device.

Syntax

HRESULT RIL_SendFlash(
  HRIL hRil,
  LPRILADDRESS lpraRilAddress
);

Parameters

  • lpraRilAddress
    A pointer to a RILADDRESS structure. The flash message is sent to this address.

Return Value

Positive HRESULT values indicate success and are used as command identifications for matching the asynchronous call result. Negative HRESULT values indicate an error. Errors are defined in the Ril.h file.

An asychronous result of RIL_RESULT_OK indicates success. The lpData notification parameter is set to NULL.

Remarks

This function has not been implemented in the sample RIL driver.
