This function gets the Answer To Reset (ATR) string from the SIM.

Syntax

HRESULT RIL_GetATR(
  HRIL hRil
);

Parameters

Return Value

Positive HRESULT values indicate success and are used as command identifications for matching the asynchronous call result. Negative HRESULT values indicate an error. Errors are defined in the Ril.h file.

An asynchronous result of RIL_RESULT_OK indicates success with the lpData notification parameter pointing to an RILATRINFO structure.

Remarks

RIL_GetATR gives the card capabilities to the RIL client that is a standard smartcard primitive. Even though this command is not standardized in 3GPP, it is required if directly binary access to SIM cards is supported by the underlying hardware.
