ISAXContentHandler::ignorableWhitespace Method
A version of this page is also available for
4/8/2010
This method is not called in the current implementation because the SAX2 (Simple API for XML) implementation is non-validating. However, you can manually call the ignorableWhitespace method to pass ignorable white space characters to MXXMLWriter.
Syntax
HRESULT ignorableWhitespace(
const wchar_t* pwchChars,
int cchChars
);
Parameters
- pwchChars
[in] Pointer to the character data.
- cchChars
[in] Length of the character string.
Return Value
- S_OK
Returned if the character data is returned successfully.
- E_FAIL
Returned if an internal error occurs.
Remarks
The ignorableWhitespace method does not convert carriage-return line feed ("\r\n") to the Java language line feed('\n').
