This function adds a usage identifier OID to the certificate's extended key usage (EKU) property.

Syntax

BOOL WINAPI CertAddEnhancedKeyUsageIdentifier(
  PCCERT_CONTEXT pCertContext,
  LPCSTR pszUsageIdentifier
);

Parameters

• pCertContext
  [in] Pointer to the CERT_CONTEXT structure of the certificate for which the usage identifier is to be added.

• pszUsageIdentifier
  [in] Pointer to the null-terminated string that contains the usage identifier OID to add.

Return Value

If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero, or TRUE.

If the function fails, the return value is zero, or FALSE.

For extended error information, call the GetLastError function.
