The Reporting feature of Operations Manager 2007 has been enhanced and focuses on customer scenarios, performance, and usability. Operations Manager 2007 provides the following capabilities with Reporting:
Data does not need to go through the Operations Manager 2007 database before going to the Reporting data warehouse. Data can be sent directly to either the Operations Manager 2007 database or the Reporting data warehouse, or both.
Reporting data is available with virtually no latency.
Reports are displayed in the Operations Manager 2007 Operations console.
Data is pre-aggregated, summarized, and indexed. Reports covering long periods of time display quickly.
