How to Open a View for an Operations Manager 2007 Managed Object

Use the following procedure to open a view for an agent-managed computer, agentless managed computer, or network device.

To open a view for a managed object

Log on to the computer with an account that is a member of the Operations Manager Administrators role for the Operations Manager 2007 Management Group.
In the Operations Console, click the Administration button.

Note

When you run the Operations Console on a computer that is not a Management Server, the Connect To Server dialog box will display. Type the name of the Operations Manager 2007 Management Server you want the Operations Console to connect to in the Server name text box.
In the Administration pane, expand Administration, expand Device Management, and then click Agent Managed, Agentless Managed, or Network Device.
In the results pane, right-click the object you want to open a view for, click Open, and then click the view you want, such as Event View.
