This message is sent by an application to add Unicode text to the HTML control.

Syntax

DTM_ADDTEXTW
  wParam = (WPARAM)(BOOL) bPlainText;
  lParam = (LPARAM)(LPWSTR) szText;

Parameters

• bPlainText
  A Boolean that indicates the format of the text to be added. If set to TRUE, the text is treated as plain text. If set to FALSE, the text is treated as HTML-Formatted text.

• szText
  A null-terminated wide character text string to be added to the HTML control

Return Value

None

Remarks

This is the Unicode version of DTM_ADDTEXT. After the Unicode text is added to the HTML control, the text parameters in the notification messages will be Unicode.

The following example shows how you might use this message:

SendMessage(hWndCtrl, DTM_ADDTEXTW, FALSE, 
    (LPARAM)L"<bgsound src=\"file:\\\\windows\\default.wav\"loop=\"15\">);
