4/8/2010
Assigns the IInkRecognitionResult object to the IInkStrokes collection that was used to generate the results.
Syntax
HRESULT SetResultOnStrokes();
Parameters
This method has no parameters.
Return Value
HRESULT value | Description |
---|---|
S_OK |
Success. |
E_INVALIDARG |
The recognition range is invalid. |
E_INK_EXCEPTION |
An exception occurred while processing. |
E_OUTOFMEMORY |

Remarks
System performance suffers if recognition results are automatically assigned to every IInkStrokes collection. Therefore results are not attached to a IInkStrokes collection by default. To assign results to an IInkStrokes collection, you must call the SetResultOnStrokes method. To return the recognition results for a Strokes collection, use the IInkStrokes::RecognitionResult property. After you assign results to a IInkStrokes collection, you can then store the strokes in an IInkCustomStrokes collection. These custom strokes, as well as the IInkRecognitionResult, can be persisted and retrieved for later use.
