Monitoring Commerce Server Sites
For the latest version of Commerce Server 2007 Help, see the Microsoft Web site.
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 along with Commerce Server 2007 provide a set of monitoring tools that system administrators can use to monitor the performance of their Commerce Server sites. The tools provided by Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Commerce Server 2007 help you analyze site usage. You can use the results of these analyses to fine-tune site performance and allow for growth.
Planning for and configuring your monitoring tools are the initial steps for monitoring your sites. After you have a monitoring plan, see Optimizing Commerce Server for more information about fine-tuning the performance of your sites.
Commerce Server 2007 generates events in the Event Viewer snap-in so that you can verify that Commerce Server 2007 is performing correctly. For more information about Event Viewer and System Monitor, see Windows Server 2003 Help or Windows Server 2008 Help.
For information about the tools you can use to monitor your sites, see Tools for Optimizing Performance.
