Data Warehouse Analytics Authorization Requirements

Users must have specific permissions in order to work with the Data Warehouse Analytics System. There are two types of authorization:
Permission to read data from the run-time databases and to write data into the Data Warehouse.
Permission to read from the Data Warehouse to create reports.
These permissions are defined as part of SQL Server security, and do not use the Commerce Server authorization manager. To define these permissions, use SQL Server Management Studio (SQL Server 2005) or SQL Server Enterprise Manager (SQL Server 2000).
