How to Import Users into a List

You can import users into a list from a file or an expression.

To import users into a list

  1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and then click Marketing Manager.

  2. In Marketing Manager, in the Views pane, click Lists.

  3. In the Search Results pane, select the file that contains the users that you want to import into a list.

  4. In the Tasks pane, click Import list.

  5. In the Import List dialog box, do the following:

    Import Type

    Select the type of data source to use to import users from the drop-down list.

    Source

    If you select File as the Import Type, in the Source box, type the name of the file that contains the list of users you want to import, or click Browse to locate the file.

    If you select Expression as the Import Type, click Browse to open the Choose Expressions dialog box to choose from a list of existing expressions, and then click OK.

  6. Click OK to close the Import List dialog box.
