How to Enable IIS on the Business Management Server

This topic provides steps for enabling Internet Information Services (IIS) on the business management server that is running Windows Server 2003 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008.
By default, IIS 7.0 is not installed on Windows Server 2008. You can install IIS by using the Add Roles wizard in Server Manager.
To enable IIS on the business management server that is running Windows Server 2003
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
In the Add or Remove Programs dialog box, in the left pane, click Add/Remove Windows Components.
On the Windows Components page, in the Components box, click Application Server, and then click Details.
In the Application Server dialog box, in the Subcomponents of Application Server box, select the check boxes for ASP.NET, Enable network DTC access, Internet Information Services (IIS), and then click OK.
On the Windows Components page, click Next.
On the Completing the Windows Components Wizard page, click Finish.
To enable IIS 7.0 on the business management server that is running Windows Server 2008
Click Start, point to Administrative Tools and then click ServerManager.
In RolesSummary, click AddRoles.
Use the AddRolesWizard to add the following server roles:
