IMSVidCtl::get_AudioRendererActive Method

The get_AudioRendererActive method retrieves the audio renderer that is currently active.

Syntax

HRESULT get_AudioRendererActive(
  [out]  IMSVidAudioRenderer **ppVal
);

Parameters

  • ppVal [out]
    Address of a variable that receives an IMSVidAudioRenderer interface pointer. If no audio renderer is active, this parameter receives the value NULL.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT value. Possible values include the following.

Return code Description

S_OK

Success.

E_POINTER

NULL pointer argument.

Remarks

The returned IMSVidAudioRenderer interface has an outstanding reference count. The caller must release the interface.

Header Declared in Dshow.h.
DLL Requires Quartz.dll.
