How to: Remove Permission SetsĀ
Use the .NET Framework Configuration tool (Mscorcfg.msc) to remove a permission set at a particular level.
To remove a permission set using Mscorcfg.msc
Run the .NET Framework Configuration tool (Mscorcfg.msc).
In Control Panel, open Administrative Tools.
Double-click Microsoft .NET Framework <version> Configuration.
Alternatively, you can run the tool from a command prompt:
In the .NET Framework 1.0 and 1.1, type the following at the command prompt: %Systemroot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\versionNumber\Mscorcfg.msc.
In the .NET Framework 2.0, start the SDK Command Prompt and type mscorcfg.msc.
Expand the Runtime Security Policy node.
Expand the node for the policy level you want to remove a permission set from.
Expand the Permission Sets node.
Right-click the permission set you want to remove and choose Delete.
Note You cannot remove built-in permission sets or permission sets that are associated with a code group.
