The Memory window is available only if address-level debugging is enabled the Options dialog box, Debugging node.

You can hide or display the toolbar at the top of the Memory window. You will not have access to Address box or other tools while the toolbar is hidden.

The dialog boxes and menu commands you see might differ from those described in Help depending on your active settings or edition. To change your settings, choose Import and Export Settings on the Tools menu. For more information, see Visual Studio Settings.

To toggle the toolbar

  1. Right-click a Memory window.

  2. From the shortcut menu, click Show Toolbar.

    The toolbar appears or disappears, depending on its previous state.
