InkWordNode.SetRecognizedString Method

Adds a new user-defined string for the recognized value of the InkWordNode.

Parameters

  • newRecognitionString
    Type: System.String

    The new user-defined string.

Remarks

Use this method if there is no AnalysisAlternate object with the RecognizedString that the user wants for this InkWordNode.

Calling SetRecognizedString creates a new AnalysisAlternate object for this InkWordNode. Calling SetRecognizedString multiple times creates multiple AnalysisAlternate objects.

The InkRecognitionConfidence for the new AnalysisAlternate object will be Strong.

Examples

The following example takes a string from the TextBox.Text property of a TextBox, correctionTextBox, and uses it to set the recognized string of an InkWordNode, selectedWord.

selectedWord.SetRecognizedString(CorrectionTextBox.Text)
selectedWord.SetRecognizedString(correctionTextBox.Text);
