Examples
The following two examples show how to use TextInserted.
The first example attaches an TextInserted event handler, tip_TextInserted, to the TextInputPanel object, tip.
AddHandler tip.TextInserted, AddressOf tip_TextInserted
tip.TextInserted += new EventHandler<TextInsertionEventArgs>(tip_TextInserted);
The second example defines an event handler for the TextInserted event where a string value is used to set the TextBox.Text property of a TextBox, outputTextBox.
Sub tip_TextInserted(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As TextInsertionEventArgs)
outputTextBox.Text += "Inserted Text: " + Environment.NewLine
Dim inkArray As Microsoft.Ink.Ink() = e.GetInk()
Dim ink As Microsoft.Ink.Ink
For Each ink In inkArray
outputTextBox.Text += ink.Strokes.ToString()
Next ink
outputTextBox.Text += Environment.NewLine
End Sub
void tip_TextInserted(object sender, TextInsertionEventArgs e)
{
outputTextBox.Text += "Inserted Text: " + Environment.NewLine;
Microsoft.Ink.Ink[] inkArray = e.GetInk();
foreach (Microsoft.Ink.Ink ink in inkArray)
{
outputTextBox.Text += ink.Strokes.ToString();
}
outputTextBox.Text += Environment.NewLine;
}
