Segment Line Table

Contains information about the contacts that make up the segment. You select contacts to be included in the segment according to criteria that you choose, for example territory code, job responsibilities, profile criteria, and so on. You can do this by using the Add Contacts function, the Remove Contacts, Refine and the Remove Contacts, Reduce functions, or manually by entering the contact numbers on the segment line. You can use a previously logged segment or saved segmentation criteria to create segments.

If you have created an interaction for the segment, you can enter information specific to each particular contact on the segment line. For example, if you have selected E-Mail in the Correspondence Type field for the whole segment, you can specify that a particular contact is sent information by fax.
