Analysis Report Chart Setup Window

Specifies the analysis report columns, lines, and other settings that the specific chart in, for example, the Sales Performance window is based on.

You can edit existing sales, purchase, or inventory charts or create new ones by choosing from different analysis report columns and lines and chart display types. For more information, see How to: Edit Business Charts.

The specific chart that you set up in this window is saved in the Analysis Report Chart List window, and from there you can select it from the Sales Performance window by choosing Select Chart.

Data Source FastTab

Specifies the overall data and criteria that the sales, purchase, or inventory chart is based on, such as the analysis report that is used and the time interval that analysis report values are displayed for.

Measures (Y-Axis) FastTab

Specifies the analysis report columns or lines that are shown as measures on the y-axis of the chart.

Select a chart measure by choosing Edit, and then select a value in the Chart Type field in the Analysis Report Chart Line window.

Note

The option that you select in the Base X-Axis on field on the Date Source FastTab alternates the list of columns, lines, or a combination of both.

Dimensions (X-Axis) FastTab

Specifies the analysis report columns or lines that are shown as dimensions on the x-axis of the chart.

Select a chart measure by choosing Edit, and then select a value in the Chart Type field in the Analysis Report Chart Line window.

Note

The option that you select in the Base X-Axis on field on the Date Source FastTab alternates the list of columns or lines that you can select from.
