It is important to consider the use of permission sets in specifying which users have access to this page. For security reasons, you should limit access only to those users who have an administrative need to run tests on the connection setup or to generate encryption keys.

Working with Keys

To access Payment Services, you must generate a key. When you have generated a key and signed up for Payment Services, you can download the key from the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server computer to your own computer, but the file that has the key is encrypted. You can only open the file by uploading the key to Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server and specifying the same password as you specified when the key was downloaded.

Important

When you download the key from Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server, make sure that the file is stored in a secure location. Also, on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server computer, access to the folder where the key is stored must be restricted so only the user account that the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server instance is running under can access the key.

Tip

For more information on how to navigate in the user interface, see Work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. For assistance in finding specific pages, see Search.
