Date Filter Code Field, Cost Allocation Target Table
Specifies a filter to filter the calculation of the dynamic allocation base by dates.
Most dynamic allocation bases are dependent on a net change within a specific time period. It would not be practical, if this time period were set up with a typical date filter, because the date range would have to be newly defined before each allocation.
You use the Date Filter Code field to define a dynamic date range without using a static date. If the allocation bases are updated, the date filter is automatically updated by using the current work date. The current date is the default value for the work date. The following table shows predefined date filter codes in the first column and the date filter that would be calculated if the work date is Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the second column.
