Makefile.plt File

The platform-specific information for the make files is contained in Makefile.plt. You can include Makefile.plt in your own make files to select the build target and set platform-specific variables. For an example of this, see Makefile.def.

Under the root installation directory of the Windows Driver Kit (WDK), the latest version of Makefile.plt is stored in the bin subdirectory.

This file contains the very useful macros TARGET_DIRECTORY and FREEBUILD.
