Retrieves the scaling mode capabilities of the implementing filter.

Syntax

HRESULT GetScalingModeCaps(
   AM_MEDIA_TYPE *pmt
   DWORD *pdwScalingModeCapsMask
  );

Parameters

  • *pmt
    [in] Indicates the type of the current media.

    Possible values for this setting defined in the AM_MEDIA_TYPE structure.

  • *pdwScalingModeCapsMask
    [out] Indicates what the scaling capabilities of the implementing filter are.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT value that depends on the implementation of the interface.

In the current DirectShow implementation, this method returns NOERROR if successful, or E_INVALIDARG or E_FAIL upon failure.
