HSE_REQ_IS_CONNECTED

This support function can be used to determine if the client is still connected. This call is expensive for out-of-process applications since an RPC call must occur between the DLLHOST.exe and Inetinfo.exe processes.

Parameters

  • ConnID
    Specifies the connection identifier of the client to which the response data should be sent.

  • dwServerSupportFunction
    The name of the Server Support function, which in this case must be set to HSE_REQ_IS_CONNECTED.

  • lpvBuffer
    Points to a global persisted BOOL that will contain the status of the client connection.

  • NULL
    Set to NULL.

  • NULL
    Set to NULL.

Requirements

Client: Requires Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows NT Workstation 4.0.

Server: Requires Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server, or Windows NT Server 4.0.
